CCFE Event-Linked Futures
(IFEX, IFEX-FLW, IFEX-GCW)

The CCFE IFEX (Insurance Futures Exchange) Event-Linked Futures contract offers market participants a financial instrument to hedge against significant economic damages associated with wind. A contract gives the owner a fixed payout in the event that the economic damages from a particular wind event reach specified threshold values. CCFE offers three distinct IFEX contracts that encompass damages in the entire United States, Florida, and the Gulf Coast region.
